MSN Attendance/Early Dismissals

Center Grove Middle School North parents and guardians should a student absence, including appointments, late arrivals, or early dismissal, using their Skyward Family Access account. Using Skyward Family Access provides parents with the ability to report or request an absence 24/7 using their computer or mobile device. School attendance is important.  If your student is absent for any reason, please enter it into Skyward before 9:00 AM.  (Instructions are linked below.)

EXTENDED ABSENCES - In the event of a family emergency or a planned absence that will result in missing several days of school, students need to complete a family leave form well in advance of the day to be missed.  We encourage parents to plan family vacations during our calendar breaks as attendance does influence a child’s ability to succeed in school. The district calendar is available at this link.

DOCTOR NOTES - When a student must miss school for a doctor’s appointment, you must turn in a doctor note for the absence to count as an excused absence.  If a student arrives to school late from a doctor’s appointment, please have them turn the doctor's note in to the office.  Without the note, the absence will count as a late arrival/lost instructional time or unexcused absence.
